Winter’s Anteroom • Andrew Sacks

An uninspired still-life.
White overhanging
Sun become clouds of invisibility
Naked clustered points for trees
     Birds chirping without omen.
A tick. A click.
No whisperings.
Paused air for wind
Sitting upon it all.
